Bold, powerful, and unmistakably American, the H10 Color Case Hardened Rifle brings classic craftsmanship to one of the most respected big-bore cartridges ever produced. Chambered in .45-70 Government, this rifle blends traditional aesthetics with commanding performance for hunters and enthusiasts who appreciate authority at both ends of the rifle.
Built on Henry’s steel-framed lever-action platform, the H10, this version features a genuine color case hardened receiver, produced through a traditional heat-treating process that creates vivid, one-of-a-kind patterns while increasing surface durability. Each receiver is unique, ensuring no two rifles are exactly alike. The finish is paired with a blued octagonal barrel and richly finished American walnut furniture with crisp checkering for a refined yet purposeful appearance.
The .45-70 Government cartridge has earned its reputation through generations of dependable performance, offering exceptional stopping power for large game and challenging conditions. Combined with the H10’s smooth lever action, shooters benefit from reliable feeding, confident handling, and fast follow-up shots. A removable tube magazine and side loading gate provide versatility when loading or unloading, adapting easily to different hunting or range scenarios. Practical features include a traditional semi-buckhorn rear sight, brass bead front sight, sling swivel studs, and a ventilated rubber recoil pad to help manage recoil during extended shooting sessions. Despite its classic looks, the H10 is built to be used, not just admired.
Whether carried into thick timber, relied upon as a powerful hunting companion, or displayed as a centerpiece of a lever-action collection, the H10 Color Case Hardened Rifle stands as a testament to enduring design, serious capability, and American craftsmanship done without shortcuts.
